About The Project

CREATIVE CAMPAIGN | SOZE

June 2023 marked the tenth annual Immigrant Heritage Month – a month-long celebration encouraging people across the nation to explore their heritage and honor the rich contributions that immigrants and their descendants have made to our shared history and culture.

To celebrate this milestone, the I Stand With Immigrants campaign wanted to engage a series of influencers to share stories that spoke to their own immigrant heritage and why they personally stand with immigrants.

The Strategy

Call on allies and advocates to use their platform to show the world that they believe in liberty and justice for all immigrants – now and always.

The Campaign

We Stand With You

When we stand together, we have the power to create the world we deserve; a world where immigrants are celebrated, supported, and thriving in the places they call home.

We collaborated with 44 celebrities, influencers, creators and artists, each of whom posed for an official “I Stand With Immigrants” campaign portrait. 40 of our participants joined us to create an individual video, sharing a story that spoke to their immigrant heritage story and why they stand with immigrants – now and always.

From these stories, we also crafted a hero PSA, merging candid stories and scripted calls-to-action to drive home the power of collective action.

Results

The Hero PSA garnered over 590K views in total reach, with featured talent sharing the video on their own channels and driving 73K engagements. Overall, our combined reach was well over 70M.

Audiences also resonated strongly with the video, sharing comments that reinforced that a future with immigrants was a future they wanted to stand for, too.

Todd Schulte, President of FWD.us

“We are proud to celebrate the tenth annual Immigrant Heritage Month this June, with opportunities to share stories and mark the occasion across the country, both virtually and in person. We are so thankful and excited to see family, friends, and colleagues gather to celebrate their unique immigrant stories, offering a reminder of our strength as a nation when we work and celebrate together.”
