Creativity For Kindness is a global collective of creatives volunteering skills to make the world a better place. As Strategy Partner, I help nonprofits tell their stories in a way that reaches and resonates with the audiences they're trying to connect with.

Oana Namibia is a nonprofit nature reserve in the Namibian Deep South, focused on re-wilding farmland through adventure conservation and community expeditions. They approached Creativity For Kindness to create a mission statement, focus their brand messaging, and develop a strong tone of voice.

The Strategy

Help adventure-seekers discover the concept of re-wilding by showing them how Oana Namibia helps them discover a balance between outdoor thrills and doing good.

The brand refresh needed to capture the authentic adventure Oana Namibia offers amidst stunning landscapes, while urging potential travelers to become an active part of the wildlife conservation legacy.

Through interviews with the organization’s CEO, as well as distilling key takeaways from travelers who had embarked on these expeditions, I realized the concept of re-wilding the land can also be connected to re-wilding people – bringing them in closer harmony to nature through adventure.

I developed a brand platform built with language that appeals to the senses gives people a taste of what Oana Namibia has to offer - breathtaking views, wondrous wildlife, and the opportunity to discover a new wilder side of yourself.
